You will need to have experience of working with people with physical disabilities, an interest in research and preferably a post graduate degree or evidence of post graduate learning. As the centre is adopting a 'needs led' approach to the evaluation of products it is very important that you will have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills. The Research Co-ordinator will be assisted by a Centre Administrator and supervised and supported by a management team consisting of a variety of professionals from the University of Nottingham Rehabilitation Research Unit and the local Health Trusts. Other staff with a variety of expertise will be seconded or subcontracted to work with you according to the requirement of each individual evaluation.

The successful candidate and their team will be based in our Rehabilitation Centre at Derby City General Hospital which is also adjacent to the University of Nottingham Rehabilitation Research Unit.
